Job Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to foreign students to address personal, academic, and cultural challenges.
• Assist students with the adjustment to life in a new country, including cultural acclimatization and social integration.
• Offer guidance on academic concerns, time management, and study skills.
• Develop and implement workshops and programs on topics relevant to international students, such as cultural sensitivity, stress management, and career development.
• Act as a liaison between students and academic departments, facilitating communication and ensuring students’ needs are met.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of visa regulations, student rights, and institutional policies affecting international students.
• Provide resources and referrals to students for financial aid, housing, scholarships, and other support services.
• Organize orientation programs for new foreign students to familiarize them with campus resources and services.
• Conduct surveys and assessments to evaluate the needs and concerns of the international student population.
• Collaborate with other counselors, faculty, and staff to create a supportive environment for all students.
• Participate in professional development and maintain knowledge of best practices in counseling and student affairs.
