Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Monitoring: Monitor computer systems and networks to ensure proper functionality and identify any issues or abnormalities.
2. Hardware Operations: Operate and maintain computer hardware components such as servers, mainframes, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
3. Software Operations: Execute scheduled jobs, batch processing, and system backups. Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems as required.
4. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate support personnel when necessary.
5. Data Management: Manage data storage, including backing up and archiving data, and ensuring data integrity and security.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system operations, procedures, and configurations. Document any changes or incidents for future reference.
7. Security Compliance: Adhere to security protocols and policies to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
8. User Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting common issues and providing guidance on system usage.
9. Disaster Recovery: Assist in developing and implementing disaster recovery plans and procedures to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of system failures or disasters.
10. Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and resource utilization.
