Job Responsibilities
- Install wiring, circuits, outlets, and fixtures in accordance with diagrams and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan installation and repair tasks efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and national safety standards.
- Conduct tests on electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as contractors and plumbers, to complete projects effectively.
- Respond to emergency service calls during and after hours as required.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in electrical technology and best practices.
