Job Description


Responsibilities:

Service Operations Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, including repair and maintenance services.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient completion of service orders while maintaining quality standards.

Customer Service:

  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the service department.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations promptly and professionally.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and direction to service managers, technicians, and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.

Performance Metrics:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the service department.
  • Implement strategies to achieve and exceed performance targets related to service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the service department budget.
  • Implement cost control measures and revenue enhancement strategies to achieve financial goals.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality service.
  • Conduct regular audits of service processes and procedures.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs for service staff and develop programs to enhance their skills.
  • Stay informed about advancements in automotive technology and industry best practices.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee parts and inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize downtime.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective parts procurement.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry certifications.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulations that may impact service operations.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the overall business strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for service department growth and improvement.
