Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance supply chain performance.
- Coordinate transportation and shipping activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Manage inventory levels and oversee warehousing operations to ensure efficient storage and handling of products.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to negotiate shipping rates and terms.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations regarding transportation and hazardous goods.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics with business objectives.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports related to logistics operations and performance.
- Handle any issues or discrepancies in shipping and logistics operations promptly.
- Manage contracts with logistics service providers and carrier companies.
