Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure efficient operations.
- Plan and monitor scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Supervise maintenance staff, including technicians and laborers, ensuring efficient task execution.
- Coordinate and manage resources for repairs and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify issues and maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on performance metrics.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, optimizing costs while maintaining effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to assess maintenance needs and provide solutions.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Evaluate and authorize maintenance expenditure as per budgetary guidelines.
- Research and recommend new maintenance technologies and processes to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
