Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Oversee the complete fabrication process of railway products like web girders, composite bridges, composite girders, and heavy structures.
• Manage day-to-day production operations, ensuring on-time delivery of products while adhering to quality standards.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to understand technical specifications and ensure alignment with production capabilities.
• Monitor resource planning, workflow, and ensure optimized production output.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.

Quality Control & Inspection:

• Handle both internal and external inspections, ensuring all products meet stringent quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits during the fabrication process, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with external inspection agencies, and manage documentation for certifications and compliance reports.

 Team Leadership:

• Lead, motivate, and manage the production team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on production techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Foster a positive work culture and team collaboration.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously monitor production processes and implement best practices for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Identify areas for improvement and drive process optimization initiatives.
• Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of machinery, tools, and equipment.

 Project Coordination:

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and supply chain teams to align production schedules with project timelines.
• Track project progress and communicate any delays or challenges to senior management.
• Ensure that production meets customer specifications, quality expectations, and delivery deadlines.
