Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Operate brewing equipment to produce various beer styles, following established recipes and protocols.
- Monitor fermentation processes, including temperature, pressure, and gravity, to ensure optimal product quality.
- Conduct regular quality control checks, including sensory evaluation and laboratory testing of samples.
- Maintain a clean and organized brewing environment, adhering to sanitation and health standards.
- Document all brewing activities, including production data, inventory levels, and maintenance logs.
- Manage the brewing team, providing training and support to new staff and ensuring effective communication during shifts.
- Schedule and oversee the maintenance and repair of brewing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments, including quality assurance and sales, to develop new products and enhance existing offerings.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during brewing operations, including the handling of hazardous materials.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering raw materials and managing stock levels to meet production needs.
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving to address production issues as they arise.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing brewing efficiency and product quality.
