Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
• Supervise and lead a team of workshop staff, including technicians and maintenance personnel, to achieve production targets.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff on safety procedures, equipment usage, and best practices.
• Coordinate workflow and production schedules to optimize efficiency and meet project deadlines.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of workshop staff, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop.
• Maintain inventory of materials and equipment, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for uninterrupted operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the workshop to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and quality assurance, to effectively manage resources and enhance productivity.
• Prepare and manage the workshop budget, tracking expenses and making adjustments as necessary to meet financial targets.
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet required standards before they leave the workshop.
• Provide regular reports to upper management on workshop performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement among workshop personnel.
